My Custom Intel SLI Gaming Rig

how long will this gaming rig last me?

im planning on building a computer, here are the specs.
Graphics Card-SAPPHIRE 100311SR Radeon HD 6970 2GB
OS-Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Core Processor-AMD Black Edition - AMD Phenom II
motherboard- need some help deciding, i'd like one with enough spacing between the 2 PCIE ports in case i plan on using crossfire in the future
RAM-G.SKILL Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB)
Power Supply-KINGWIN LZG-850 GOLD 850W

your thoughts?

dont worry bro, this rig is enough to last for next 5years and games will also run fine to next 5-6years.
I can prove this . just check the internet for the gaming rig of 5years ago, it was a dual core processor, nvidia 7800gts, 2gb ram and windows xp. this rig costs the same as of yours and can also handle the highly demanding game metro2033 at medium settings and 720p, which is current game. you may ask that why 720p if you are paying for a rig which can handle games at 1080p much better, then you need to note that 5 years ago the resolution of 1280*1024 was the best considered as 1080p of today. even after 5-6years latest games can be played in your rig at 1080p resolution (maybe you may need to tone down to medium settings after 3-4 years, but games will still look much better on your pc than the upcoming xbox or playstation).
