Industrial Tools Supply

Quick Tooling prototypes are often made utilizing FDM technology. The actual part is made from extruded black Ab muscles and was adopted for many functional testing.

Initial Prototyping

3M started this particular phase by making stereolithography (SLA) designs using its in-house SLA gear. Flood SLA function was found in order to Landscape Technologies. The SLA prototypes were used through engineers as well as industrial creative designers to check fit and type. Exactly the same prototypes were utilised through 3M product packaging engineers to create conceptual mock-ups of product packaging. Additionally they made superb resources with regard to ergonomic as well as functionality research.

To imitate the actual gentle below mat of the sanding device, Landscape used PolyJet(TM) rapid prototyping technologies. PolyJet was chosen since it can use possibly of two soft-durometer (a hardness measurement) materials that can be set you back acquire comparable high quality parts as SLA technology. TangoBlack, the material with a score of 61 on the Shore The durometer scale, had been the very best fit. Within times Landscape could provide 3M using their simulated soft-durometer below pads for more testing.

The underside mat for the hands sander was prototyped utilizing TangoBlack material from the Polyjet technology. This material is really a Sixty one Shoreline A material that imitates the properties of santoprene.

Simultaneously, a gripping/tensioning mechanism for that sanding press was being created. At this point, the sub-assemblies had been merged right into a refined group of CAD databases. Additional SLA parts were created to assess the brand new mechanisms. Along with every brand new model, they could investigate latest features in the design. Because these quick prototype parts could be created cost-effectively within hours rather than days or even days, they had the ability to research complicated forms and details in a method difficult utilizing traditional machining and fabrication techniques. In some cases several iterations had been generated in one or even 2 days.

About the remaining may be the hands sander from the model tool and also the hands sander about the correct is actually from the manufacturing device.

Second-Generation Rapid Prototypes: More Realistic Simulations
In the 2nd era from the prototypes, 3M required the actual joint perform as well as materials properties to be simulated more reasonably. After a few design changes had been designed to the actual CAD information, Landscape Systems supplied 3M with a Fused Depositing Custom modeling rendering (FDM) model.

The FDM part, produced from extruded dark ABS, permitted for additional robust testing and supplied comparable specified materials properties in pounds as well as strength since the last component would have. This model was able to manage a number of tests that allowed 3M to modify their design before manufacturing tooling was launched.

As rapid prototyping and Industrial Tool And Equipment become more sophisticated, the importance of picking the correct technology for product applications can be critical to gaining a competitive edge. As 3M found, a combination of RP and RT technologies and materials helped them save money, speed development time and establish a foothold in the marketplace.

Yes they should all work fine. That said, there are a few things you might want to consider before you run that build.

Jetway generally makes kind of cheap motherboards and the 570i is a very old chipset. I would suggest either a 650i, 680i, or 750i if you are dedicated to SLI. Right now the options out there totally favor Crossfire in good motherboards as opposed to SLI.

A slightly better SLI board I found was this 650i by ECS:

Also, your choice of CPU is a somewhat overpriced and aging. The Core 2 Duo E7200 for $130 is an amazing deal, overclocks like an f-in madman and is more efficient due to it's 45nm manufacture. I think investing a lot in a dual core right now is a waist, given that quads will take over completely within the next few years.

What I would really recommend is either using the single 8800GT configured with an Intel chipset board, or changing to an ATi Crossfire configuration.

For the Crossfire configuration I would recommend an MSI P35 Platinum Combo as it will support DDR2, DDR3, Crossfire, and have nice OC options. It will also be more future proof. That is the best budget board IMO.

You can either equip it with an 8800 GT, HD 3850 CF, or HD 3870. I would say grab a HD 3870 and then add another when you get the cache. The money you save on video card will pay for a better mobo.
This is about the best HD 3870 deal out there:

If you want an 8800 GT Gigabyte's are cheaper and come with better coolers than eVga. Gigabyte is a good quality brand that belongs with the best. And it's blue :)

Lets see, lastly I suggest you move up to a 500GB as anything less starts to be more expensive per gigabyte:

One more thing, Rosewill is good for cheap supplies, but you might consider moving up to an OCZ, Corsair, or Antec, as they are usually competitive with cheap brands in the 600W range.

Hope that advice wasn't unwanted.
